Capt. R. K. Passi, a Master Mariner with 12 years of sea service
on ocean going vessels and many years of experience as a Marine
Surveyor / Consultant in the United Arab Emirates, is the present
General Manager of the Company. He worked as a Senior Surveyor
with Cleghorn, Wilton & Associates at Dubai from 1992 to 1997,
during which time he established himself in almost every aspect
of Marine surveying and served the most elite local and international
clientele. A full Member of the Nautical Institute, U.K. and Fellow
of the Institute of Chartered Shipbrokers, U.K., Capt. Passi has
been a member of the Working Committees of the U.A.E branches
of The Institute of Chartered Shipbrokers and The Nautical Institute
in the past. Prior to taking up shore employment in 1992, he served
on various types of ocean going vessels like General cargo, Container,
Oil-Bulk-Ore carriers, Refrigerated general / liquid carriers
and Bulk carriers of reputable international shipping companies
from 1979 to 1992.
